  • Core services are the basic functionality of the service that the customer is paying for.
  • Enhancing services are the additional functionality that provide differentiation. They are sometimes know as excitement factors.
  • Enabling services are those service assets that are required for the delivery of services. Examples of enabling services are the servers, applications, training, databases and network devices.
